New Delco Bose!

Forgot to mention this. Remember how the tape deck on my Delco Bose is shot? Well, on Friday, I bought this mint condition Delco Bose out of an '85 Corvette for........ wait for it....... $40! Considering these things in this kind of condition (no scratches on face plate, no wires cut or spliced, etc.) usually go for $250+, I'd call this a steal. I'm still going to fiddle around with the one in the car a bit more to see if I can fix it, though. Either way, I'll end up selling one of them. So, I'll be making money either way, and I'll have a working tape deck!

Take pictures! Mine's having antenna issues and I'm probably gonna need to pull the radio to check the connection. Curious how hard it is.

Lol :D It kind of helps when you have a car with a cassette player, and you insist on keeping the stock radio. Plus the nostalgia factor!

Very nice. My tape deck is stuck on eject and I would really like to fix it. At that price, I’d just get a new one!

Hey, haven’t seen you around here in quite a while!

Yeah, I was pretty glad to find it. The price was just too good to pass up. And that definitely sucks. I’d say to keep a look out on your local CL for one, if possible.

Yeah, I came on after a hiatus and saw that your corvette was back on the road! I’ve been pretty busy keeping mine going. It would definitely be nice to be able to use cassettes or an MP3 adapter.

Yep! I’m glad to finally have mine back. Got a few things to do (brakes are BAD) but, for the most part, its doing great. What’s been going on with yours?
